Taylor Mott is a Los Angeles based filmmaker. She's an editor with the motivation and spirit to tell human - and not so human - stories.

Working for Imagine Documentaries the last few years, her work specializes in projects with heart and a community focus. She has a love of animation, animals, and finding the humor in things. Recent projects include: Good Night June (Narrative, Editor, 2024), 1 in the Chamber (Narrative, Editor, 2024), Earnhardt (Amazon Docuseries, Associate Producer, 2025).

What I love:

What I love:
How intensely beautiful, sad, and dark it is the beginning, quickly unraveling into a ridiculous over the top revenge plot that leaves you satisfied

What I love:
- Every inch of this maximalist visual splendor.
- The surrealist fantasies
- At it's whimsical core... it's another mother/daughter moment. Which destroys me.

Swiss Army Man (2016)

Why I love it (yes, really):
Where the ending left some folks confused, I love the journey this takes me on. Silly, fun, and beautiful, it strips down art from a generally pretentious standpoint, to a fart-filled story of longing for connection.
